Invitation to participate in a Delphi Study

Dear all,

We invite all intensive care practitioners to participate in a Delphi survey to identify barriers and facilitators to successful implementation of cost-effective interventions in intensive care setting. Your opinion is valuable to guide this research.

Purpose of the study: Over the last two decades, the compliance to evidence-based best practice guidelines has been poor. This challenge becomes even more important in intensive care unit (ICU) settings. In the ICUs, life-saving interventions require immense resources and manpower costs. Therefore, best practice and evidence-based guidelines have focused on identifying cost-effective interventions. However, despite a significant healthcare cost burden, there remains a paucity of studies in the literature evaluating poor adoption of proposed measures in ICU settings. Therefore, this Delphi study aims to address this.
