Participating in the EfCCNa Exchange Programme was an exceptional professional and personal experience. During my two-week placement in the Netherlands, I had the opportunity to visit three different intensive care units: Erasmus MC in Rotterdam, UMC Utrecht and Máxima MC in Veldhoven. Experiencing three distinct hospitals allowed me to appreciate the diversity of Dutch critical care while recognising the consistently high standards of nursing practice across all settings.
