Dr John Albarran (EfCCNa) together with Dr Maria Saraiva (EDTNA) has recently completed the development of an edited handbook entitled Acute Kidney Injury: A guide to clinical practice.
The book is a initiative of EDTNA/ERCA (European Dialysis and Transplant Nurses Association/European Renal Care Association), EfCCNa and HENNA (Hellenic Nephrology Nurses Association)
This resource for practitioners was officially launched on the 17th of September 2012 in Strasburg and is now available as a pdf on the EfCCNa web pages.
Nursing in Critical Care has recently launched a virtual issue on infection control which is a collection of papers which is freely available to all who visit the home page http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/journal/10.1111/(ISSN)1478-5153
The British Association of Critical Care Nurses has published a Position Statement on Visiting in Adult Critical Care Units in the United Kingdom.
