Nicole Lee follows Ian Naldrett as British Council member

NEW British Council member: during the Skopje meeting Ian Naldrett introduced Nicole Lee as his successor.
Here is her introduction:
My name is Nicole Lee from the United Kingdom 🇬🇧
I sit on the National Board for BACCN (British Association of Critical Care Nurses). My background is Burns Intensive Care speciality, Critical Care Nursing Education and Simulation Training.
My current role is the Matron of the Burns service at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London and Lead Nurse for the London and South East Burns Network.
I am looking forward to being on the educational group and supporting wider critical care education with EfCCNa.

New Dutch Council Representaion

During the EfCCNa Spring Council meeting in beautiful Skopje, North-Macedonia the Dutch representation in the EfCCNa Council has changed: Margo van Mol and Paul Rood took over the post  from  Frederique Paulus.

Margo van Mol worked in the ICU for almost 30 years as a clinical nurse (registered). She holds an MSc in Health Psychology and epidemiology as well. She is currently working as assistant professor in the ICU of Erasmus MC, an academic hospital in Rotterdam. Her research interests focus on the emotional impact of the ICU on patients and their relatives and the wellbeing of healthcare professionals.

Paul Rood is former ICU nurse and currently senior researcher and projectleader at HAN University of Applied Sciences. Also, he is board member and vice-chairman of the Dutch critical care nurses association. He is a registered nurse since 2008, and has worked from 2010 to 2020 at the ICU of the Radboud University Medical Center. In 2020 he obtained his PhD by research on the effect of non-pharmacological prevention and treatment of delirium in the ICU. Currently, his research focusses on family involvement in daily ICU care.

New Danish Representative

Change in the Danish Council representation:
 
After three years beeing the Danish Council representive, Pernille Madsen hand over her post to Anja Ziemer.
During the times of the pandemic unfortunately we haven't had the change to meet personally - nevertheless many thanks to Pernille for her commitment and input to the Council work. The EfCCNa family wishes her all the best for her future.
