EfCCNa's new Member Society from Latvia

During the EfCCNa Council meeting in Tallinn, Estonia, the Latvian Association of Anesthesia and Intensive Care Nurses applied for a membership in EfCCNa. Linda Fridenberga together with her colleague Olga Cerela presented some interesting information about Critical Care nursing in Latvia and especially about their society. At present, there are 574 nurses in Latvia with the certification "Anesthesia and Intensive Care Nurse." Out of these 574 nurses, 192 (33.5%) are members of the Latvian Association of Anesthesia and Intensive Care Nurses.

The Council accepted the bid and welcomed Latvia as the 33 member in the federation.
